Getting To & Around Cambridge

For those who are travelling to Cambridge for the first time or who are travelling internationally:

The closest airport is London Stansted, and it is worth checking online (e.g. on the website www.skyscanner.net) if you can get a flight to Stansted, because there is an excellent train connection to Cambridge (the journey takes about 30 minutes). There are good bus and train connections from other London airports, but you will have to factor in up to two hours for the journey from London to Cambridge.
